Inner Strength, Outer Fluidity~ Yoga Backbends Workshop

Autumn is a season of change, a time of transformation and letting go . This time of year can at times create feelings of being ungrounded or restless.

As an antidote, enjoy  a warming vinyasa flow yoga workshop that has vibrant, backbends , hip openers, stretches for tight chests, shoulders and strengthens the core.

Themed around the joyful, yoga asana, Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana and as pictured above, it’s relative, Mermaid pose or a Merman of course!

This challenging pose is advanced but as I guide you through the workshop, with innovative variations and modifications, build your self assurance and confidence.

Remember lovely yogis, just like my regular vinyasa yoga classes, your body will be well warmed and prepared, you may  surprise yourself!  We will be opening the quads, stretching the psoas, opening shoulders .

Whether you create the perfect Mermaid or Merman doesn’t matter, because you will have un hunched shoulders, allowing deeper breaths and feel more stable and strong in your hips and legs.

Off the mat, Mermaid pose helps us to cultivate inner strength, balance and the ability to be graceful. What better way to transition into autumn!

Cancellation Policy

If you have secured a place on a yoga workshop and you cannot attend, please be aware that you must give me two weeks’ notice in order to receive a full refund. If cancelling less than two weeks prior to the workshop, then you would not be entitled to a refund.
