This summer has been full of transitions for me, as I turned 50 and prepare to send my eldest son off to Uni.

A mixture of emotions, pride, excitement and nervousness at what the future will bring.
Thank goodness for Yoga, 15 years ago as a complete beginner, it helped me feel more like me and now my practice still evolves.

Sometimes falling, occasionally laughing, as I find myself in a crazy pose I never imagined I could do.
One thing I urge you to think about, is when you find yourself not attempting something you want, because of a label or stereotype. What are you telling yourself? Is it true?
Let’s find out together on our yoga mats..

September is a great time for a fresh start and creating a new routine. Whether you are considering trying yoga for the very first time, or you want to learn something new, take a look at my autumn yoga class timetable and take your pick!

Do you think you are too stiff to try yoga? Not true! Once you start stretching on your yoga mat, your body will release that tightness.

Even your yoga teacher was a beginner once.

I have studied vinyasa flow yoga for over 15 years and as one of  Nottingham’s leading registered Senior,Certified Vinyasa teacher, you will have expert guidance on alignment and modifications, experience creative, dynamic sequences that will boost your energy and inspire you.

Ready for a little more yoga?

If you have been attending classes regularly, feeling steady in the foundation poses ,wanting a deeper understanding of the many aspects of yoga or just itching to spend more time on your mat then come along to a yoga workshop.

Yoga workshops give you the opportunity to dive deeper into your practice with more time for me to give you guidance on posture and alignment cues. Learn baby steps to play with more challenging postures.

Students ready for a more intermediate to advanced challenge can sign up for September’s workshop, The Mandala of Backbends

Looking forward to seeing you on the mat!
