Improve your confidence in using Yoga hands on assists to safely guide your students.

Saturday 2nd September 2017 ~  1.30-4.30pm

It can take a long time after qualifying to feel comfortable incorporating assisting into your teaching.

This workshop will focus on some key postures we encounter in a typical yoga class:

Downward dog, Child’s pose, Sun salutations, Triangle, Pigeon pose, Warrior’s 1,2& 3 and assists for Savasana (particularly great for your private clients).

You will gain clarity on:

What is the value of hands on assists?

How do we ensure we are not invading and imposing on another’s personal space?

Intention being communicated via touch

What to Expect

Start the session with a brief physical practice to warm the body,followed by in depth discussion, observations and partner work.

On completion you will have a deeper knowledge and understanding on how to observe your students and facilitating their practice.

This is a great opportunity to come together with your fellow yoga teachers and there will be time at the end for solution focused discussion about issues that often pop up in a yoga class.

Open to certified yoga teachers and teacher trainees. Limited to 10 places
